Is your business paying too much for power?
I check electricity bills for Texas small businesses and compare them with Ambit Energy's current plans. It costs nothing. If your plan is the better deal, I'll tell you.
Or look up plans yourself on Ambit's site: enter your ZIP and choose "Commercial" for a business.
How it works
- Email me a photo of one recent bill. A phone picture is fine.
- I compare your rate and contract with Ambit's plans for your area.
- You decide. If you switch, you enroll yourself on Ambit's site, after reading the plan's Electricity Facts Label.
Good to know
- If your fixed-rate term has ended and you didn't pick a new plan, Texas rules put you on a month-to-month product you can cancel at any time with no fee. That means nothing is holding you where you are — it's a good moment to compare what you're paying against a fixed-rate Ambit plan.
- In Texas, switching to Ambit is usually finalized within one to seven business days after you enroll, and your power is not interrupted when it happens. You can also pick the date you want the switch to land on.
- If you switch from another provider, you can rescind within three federal business days of receiving Ambit's Terms of Service, without fee or penalty.
- Ambit doesn't charge a fee to become a customer (your utility may charge a small switching fee, and your current provider's contract terms still apply).
